The holiday season is in full swing and that means treats, family, gifts, and holiday cheer! It’s a wonderful time of the year and with all this cheer comes more of everything, including a bunch of stuff you’ll need to dispose of after the holidays. Don’t worry your recycling elves are here to help. Most of what you buy and receive can be recycled at one of our depots. So, when you bring your bottles in to be recycled don’t forget you can also recycle items like boxes and wrapping paper too!

Have you ever noticed that you have more empties during the holidays? Between all the punch, sweet treats, and libations the empties seem to pile up faster than ever. But, that’s not a problem with our fastest service ever, FastDrop. You can bring your unsorted empties to the depot and we’ll have your return processed and in your account within just a few days.

We’re guessing that empties aren’t the only thing you have more of during the holidays. As you wrap presents, unbox treats, and put up decorations, you’re likely looking at more items you need to be recycled. Save time by getting it all taken care of at once!

When you bring your empties into the depot, our recycling elves also accept:

• Wrapping paper
• Boxes
• Plastic containers
• Old batteries
• Catalogues
• Lightbulbs
• Old electronics
• Old appliances

If you’re not sure if your items can be recycled, don’t hesitate to contact us to find out. We want to help you have a convenient and green holiday season!

Please keep in mind that our Abbotsford depot is the only location that’s set up for commercial volumes of cardboard and waste paper. We are all set for the families in our communities to bring their recyclables to any of our other depots. If you’re a business, please contact us for more information.

Have a very happy holiday season and if you have any questions just ask one of our recycling elves. We love being green and spreading holiday cheer!
