Pop & Juice Containers

For decades we’ve been able to recycle juice jugs, jars, and cans. More recent additions to recycling juice containers now includes tetra packs, juice boxes, and juice pouches. Now you can keep your kiddos hydrated with peace of mind knowing that you can recycle those containers. Now all you need to do is get them to bring them home from school!

Liquors, Spirits, and Wobbly Pops

This is a type of recycling that British Columbians are used to. Before pickup recycling programs, like Depozip, many would bring their empties to the liquor store for the sake of convenience. However, since you can earn 7 per container it’s like literally throwing money away if you’re not recycling your adult beverage containers. Use this link to find out which of your drink containers are recycled at our depots!

Milk, the new kid on the block

It wasn’t until February 1st of this year that we have been able to accept milk containers for recycling. This is an exciting addition to our BC Recycling Programs. It helps us keep containers out of the landfills and can put more moula in your pocket. This includes any ready-to-drink milk containers whether it is dairy or plant-based! Hi Nadine, Thanks for checking in on this. Our Nanaimo locations serve Vancouver Island and are not a part of this program. Our bottle depots in the lower mainland of BC provide this service.
