How to Recycle Bubble Wrap in BC:

Regional Recycling Nanaimo:
Regional Recycling Nanaimo is a participating RCBC Recycling Depot location that collects bubble wrap and other plastic wrap materials for recycling. This facility is dedicated to reducing plastic waste by ensuring these materials are properly processed and repurposed, rather than ending up in landfills. By offering a convenient drop-off point for bubble wrap and plastic wraps, Regional Recycling Nanaimo supports environmental sustainability and encourages the community to engage in responsible recycling practices.

Participating Recycling Depots:

Bubble wrap from commercial sources is not included in the Recycle BC program. Always verify with your local recycling guidelines or the Recycle BC website to see if there has been any updates to the recycling protocols for plastic films and bubble wrap.

London Drugs:
You can also recycle the packaging from any product purchased from London Drugs at a London Drugs Store. Whether it’s a tube of sunscreen, lotion or a TV, whenever you purchase a product from London Drugs, you can bring back the packaging for recycling as part of their Green Deal program (receipt may be required).
