Could your charity use a boost in fundraising?

At Regional Recycling we are dedicated to giving back to our community. Each month we select a local charity to gift our monthly donations to. Donations are generously provided by our community via collection bins in our depots and the Depozip and Fastdrop webapp.

Next time you’re in the depot, keep a look out for our donation bins. At the end of each month, we process all the donated empties, add the totals from the Depozip and Fast Drop web app donations, and cut a check the deserving charity!

Our preference is to prioritize charities that support children within the Fraser Valley and Lower mainland, however; we carefully review all applications and encourage all non-profit, groups and organizations to apply.

How our monthly donation bins and
web app collections work

Each Regional Recycling location hosts one bin per month on average. (Note that our Whistler and Nanaimo Depots are not included in the
program.) We’ll promote your charity on our social channels and in our newsletter, and we suggest that you do the same to help maximize your donations.

You’ll need to provide your images, photos and info required to create signs, social media, and blog posts. Regional Recycling creates a sign for the donation bin and places it inside our depot. Donation bins are available for a 1-2 month periods.

Your charity will be registered in the web app and the community can donate to your cause at anytime via their own accounts. At the end of the month, we count the donated containers, the online donations,
and calculate the refund.

The full amount of the donations collected is given to the partner charity. Regional Recycling may increase or decrease how long a bin is used at their own discretion. Charity partners agree to have pictures taken for promotional purposes.
